A.A.S. in Paraeducator Technology - Elementary Education Option

Course description Graduates of this option may enter the workforce immediately as a paraeducator in a school setting or they may choose to continue their education. The main focus of this new education option is to prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or university where they will complete their bachelor’s degree and become certified to teach elementary school. During the required education courses in this option, students are exposed to the teaching career through a variety of field experiences.
