A criterion considered in the petition process is verification of student residency. Selection will be based on residency and will be prioritized according to these criteria: Milwaukee Area Technical College District resident; State of Wisconsin resident; out-of-state resident.
This associate degree program prepares you to work as a member of an anesthesia team in surgery. You will learn the concepts and clinical applications in our on-campus surgical suite where you will learn professional skills prior to actual patient contact. These skills include assisting with monitoring lines, patient transport, interpreting physiological information, and patient preparation. You will be assigned to various hospitals as part of the clinical phase of your education.
