It addresses both aesthetics as well as comprehensive issues and elevates landscape design to the significant role it must play for society's well-being. Innovative, ecologically-based landscape design techniques are being developed to weave the landscape of man and nature together for the benefit of both.
Prepare yourself for the challenges of a career in environmental design. Graduates enter careers in landscape design, landscape design/build and landscape restoration. Some choose to work for large design firms while others prefer to start their own company. TheEnvironmental Design major can serve as a pre-MLA (Master of Landscape Architecture) program. Delaware Valley College graduates have been accepted to some of the finest graduate landscape architecture programs in the United States.
