CCS values traditional artistic methods and strives to create a skill base that students can then expand upon. Our knowledgeable faculty have exhibited work nationally and internationally and have endless resources and connections in the art world. During their time here, students will have opportunities to
exhibit their work; some will even obtain gallery representation before they graduate.
To produce some of the most talented artists in the field, CCS is continually improving the technology, studios, and equipment on campus. With spacious studios and a large industrial foundry, the department provides students with the tools they need to be successful. Senior year students are given a semi-private studio to be used for the completion of a final thematic body of work, a situation that parallels that of a working independent artist.
