Course descriptionThe Hotel and Restaurant Management curriculum provides career preparation for hotel or food and beverage management, including private club management. Course work in the curriculum meets the criteria for a business minor.

The Hotel and Restaurant Management curriculum targets students interested in careers in the premium service segment of the hospitality industry. The combination of the HRMT program with the Nutrition and Food Science areas within a single department facilitates integrative studies for the purpose for understanding and developing professional skills for careers in education, industry, government and business.
