Course descriptionThe Beef Production Certificate program is an
intensive curriculum designed to train the student
for an entry level management position in the
Production Livestock Industry. The program
emphasizes hands-on learning through labs and
practicum experience. New technologies used
include: computer assisted ration formulation
and record keeping, ultrasound equipment,
software for cowherd management and farm
management, and GPS.
Students must complete all program
requirements with a “C” grade or better.
