  • Course description According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the demand for accountants and auditors will continue to grow in the coming years, spurred on by an increase in the number of businesses, changing financial laws and regulations, and increased scrutiny of company finances. Increasingly, accountants also will assume the role of personal financial advisor. In response to market demand, these financial specialists will offer more financial management and consulting services as they take on a greater advisory role.

Students are asked to complete projects that allow them to conduct research in accounting and finance, perform cost analysis of value chains, study acquisitions and mergers, and learn about international finance.
