Course descriptionGraduate Drawing is the cornerstone of the artistic experience. Our faculty see drawing both as a way to develop ideas for application in other media, and as an art form in itself. Students concentrating in drawing from our school are provided with skills applicable to a wide variety of professional careers, from the fine arts to the commercial. Individual studios are provided.
Many graduates of the program have been successful in the creation, exhibition and sale of original work. Career opportunities include studio teaching at the college/university/art school level and many graduates of the MFA program hold positions in art departments and art schools throughout the United States and Canada. Graduates are also finding career opportunities in areas of visual presentation in galleries, corporations and industries.
