Course descriptionThe School of Web Design & New Media curriculum provides the graduate candidate with an education that combines high artistic standards with the most current technology.
The Web Design & New Media department, supported by a faculty of working professionals, offers candidates direct contacts within the high tech field. The graduate Web Design & New Media candidate is guided through tailored courses that focus on New Media. Under faculty supervision, the MFA Web Design & New Media curriculum supports each graduate candidate in designing and completing a personal Final Project that encompasses the spectrum of new media or animation.
The Master of Fine Arts requires completion of 63 semester units.
Admissions Requirements for MFA Programs
* Proof of graduation from a BA or BFA program (or the equivalent in another country, i.e. official college transcripts)
* A portfolio representing the student's work in the area of study for which the student is applying
* A letter of intent that explains why the prospect wants to take on the MFA program
* A resume and letters of recommendation
