financial economics and the theory of the firm, placing primary emphasis on the highest quality
analytical, empirical, and clinical contributions in the following major areas: capital markets, financial
institutions, corporate finance, corporate governance, and the economics of organizations.
Journal of Monetary Economics
The Journal of Monetary Economics provides a specialized forum for the publication of research in the
working and structure of financial institutions, the operation of credit markets and the various aspects
in the behavior of rates of return on assets.
These two prominent academic journals are considered to be the top in their respective fields
publishing the latest in research and innovative practices in the Finance industry. Both journals
were founded at The Simon School with a list of editors that include Simon professors and other
professors who currently teach at top tier business schools across the country. This means that Simon
