The MA educational leadership is designed for teachers interested in becoming school administrators. This program is designed to meet the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLCC) standards required for Arizona State certification.
MUST HAVE THREE YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE (verification required)

Foundation Courses - all foundation courses

* EDF 7103 Philosophy, Accountability and Change (3 cr hrs)
* EDF 7203 Diverse Community of Learners (3 cr hrs)
* EDF 7303 Leadership and Management of Change (3 cr hrs)
* EDF 7163 Research: Assessment and Evaluation (taken at the end of the program prior to the Master's Research Project) (3 cr hrs)
* EDF 8503 Master's Research Project (3 cr hrs)
Concentration Courses - all foundation courses are required
21 semester credit hours
* EDC 7713 School and Community Relations (3 cr hrs)
* EDC 7723 Instructional Design and Evaluation (3 cr hrs)
* EDC 7733 The Principalship (3 cr hrs)
* EDC 7153 Educational Law (3 cr hrs)
* EDC 7743 School Finance (3 cr hrs)
* EDC 8073 Clinical Supervision/Assessment (3 cr hrs)
* EDC 8453 Field Experience in Education **200 contact hours (3 cr hrs)
* HRC 7000 Statistics Workshop (no credit)
Elective Courses
* EDC 7813 Structured English Immersion for ELL (SEI II - 3 cr hrs)
* EDC 8613 Structured English Immersion for ELL (SEI III - 3 cr hrs)
SEI II and III must be taken before certification unless you have completed state requirements for SEI.
