Intensive training in medical billing and insurance coding
The growing demand for trained medical coding and billing specialists is driven by several factors, including federal regulations regarding medical coding and electronic record-keeping, and the growing number of medical procedures and tests scrutinized by insurance providers. Our Medical Program Advisory Committee (PAC), a group of professionals and employers in the Utah health care industry, oversees the program to ensure that our graduates have the necessary skills to handle responsibilities as entry-level medical coders, and that graduates are positioned for advancement in the medical administrative services field.
