Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Gifted Education
Course descriptionThe certificate program can be completed in four semesters with offerings year-round (fall, spring, and summer). Psychology of the Gifted and Talented (GFED 670), Programmming for the Gifted and Talented (GFED 674), Evaluating Instructional Effectiveness: Applications for Gifted and Talented Learners (GFED 675) and Field-Based Practicum (GFED 690) will be offered on a rotating basis. The completed certificate (15 s.h.) can be applied in its entirety towards the requirements for the Master of Education degree in Gifted Education.

Admission Requirements for Elementary Education, Language and Literacy Education, Early Childhood Education and Gifted Education
In addition to general graduate studies admission requirements (see Graduate School Admission Requirements section), applicants must have earned a 2.75 or
better undergraduate cumulative average (or other proof of academic competency) to qualify for admission.
