Utah Career College - West Jordan Campus
Información
A convenient Salt Lake City location
Utah Career College, originally located in downtown Salt Lake City, moved to its current location in West Jordan in 2000. Since then the West Jordan campus has grown and now occupies three buildings at West 7800 South.
Since West Jordan was founded in 1849, it has served as a hub for an area that includes most of the valley on the west side of the river, encompassing Midvale, Sandy and the former Crescent area.
Now a thriving Salt Lake City suburb, the community is the focal point of retail development in Utah, and is home to Wasatch Software, Fairchild Semiconductor, Jordan Valley Hospital, Cypress Credit Union, Mountain Credit Union and Dunford Bakeries.
School-community ties
Fundamental principles of education at UCC include practical skills training, instructors with professional experience and ties between our school and our community. Students, faculty and staff at our West Jordan campus represent all three of those ideals.
Many of our degree programs require externships, and we provide personal career placement services; area employers welcome our students. We draw from area professionals for faculty in all areas of instruction, and as individuals and in groups, students and staff are committed to community service.
Health, business, legal and technology programs
