Entry requirementsStudents should have a bachelor’s degree in arts, humanities or science, and preferably have at least two years experience working in a natural resources-related field.
Course descriptionStudents will receive graduate-level university credits and a graduate certificate upon successful completion of this online program. With approval, these courses may be transferred to other graduate degree programs at Oregon State University, and may be applied to the OSU Professional Science Master’s (PSM) in Environmental Sciences. To provide maximum flexibility for potential students, these courses may be taken as stand alone courses or taken as part of the certificate program. For students enrolled in the certificate program, five required courses provide 12 credits of the certificate, and students may choose among the other seven SNR courses for the remaining six credits.

Course Schedule
All courses in the program will be taught at least twice each year. OSU is on the quarter system: Winter term classes start in early January, Spring term starts in late March or early April, Summer Session starts in late June, and Fall term starts in late September. Registration typically starts two months prior to the start of the term and continues through the first week of the term. Check the Ecampus Schedule of Classes for details.
