Course description
Journalism education emphasizes the training of writers,
reporters, and editors for mass media. It also seeks to prepare
and guide students interested in pursuing careers in a wide
range of informational, interpretative, and promotional mass
communication fields. Career opportunities for journalism
graduates include advertising, book editing and publishing,
freelance writing, industrial journalism, magazines, mass communication
research, news agencies, newspapers, public relations,
radio, television and teaching.
The major may also lead to many other careers.
