Master in Int. Management for Non-Business Graduates
Do you have a university degree in a non-business subject, and would like to pursue a career in management? Then you are also welcome at the IU as a career changer.
The Master in International Management for Non-Business Graduates is non-consecutive, that is, it does not necessarily follow on from previous studies in economics. The programme is specially designed for people who would like to acquire fundamental knowledge of business administration and international management – with the objective of qualifying for a position in senior management.
Duration: 1 semester preparation courses plus 4 semesters Master programme (3 semesters study + 1 semester Master thesis)
On selected master programmes you have the chance to take part in our Study&Work Programme in Dublin. Within this programme you combine practice-oriented coursework with practical experience on the job. We actively support you in finding an employer to help you gain hands-on experience during your studies. In selected master programmes IU offers you the chance to switch during your studies between the German and Irish campus locations Dublin, Berlin and Bad Honnef.

Preparatory semester
In the preparatory semester, you focus on classical business administration content:

This semester provides you with ideal preparation for the business content in the subsequent semesters of your Master's programme. Here you can become acquainted with your later specialisations.
After you have successfully completed the preparatory semester, you are well prepared for the subsequent four-semester Master's programme in International Management.
First semester
In the first semester you will update and expand your technical competence in subjects of "General Management".
Second semester
The choice is yours: Under the technical supervision of your lecturers, you can choose four out of six possible areas of focus and thus define a first cornerstone of your personal competence profile.

Prerequisites for admission to the Master International Management for Non-Business Graduates (120 ECTS) programme:
Master Int. Management for Non-Business Graduates 120 ECTS
Preliminary studies: Bachelor´s degree (180 ECTS)
Final grade: Minimum grade point average of 3.0 according to the German grading system
Language skills: English, academic IELTS 6.0/ TOEFL IBT 80 points/ PTE 56 points (51 points in each component)
