A minimum of 30 Semester credit hours must be successfully completed for the MSEE degree.
Electrical Engineering Courses must be chosen from the MSEE course offering list. Students may choose courses from
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and other appropriate programs to satisfy the requirement of MSEE Elective course. Each student must submit a Concentration Degree Plan, in accordance with MSEE Concentration policies below.
*Graduate Students electing the non-thesis option may substitute three credits of independent study for one area or breadth course.

Note that the Custom Degree Plan is only available to perspective students who have well defined, appropriate MSEE degree objectives which can not be satisfied under the requirements of any of the other Concentration Degree Plans. The intent is that every MSEE student follow a degree plan which from the beginning is focused and consistent with our areas of expertise. In order to be considered for admission to the
College of Engineering Graduate Program, you must provide all required materials:
- Completed application form online or paper application with appropriate application fees*
- Official transcripts of all previous college work (both undergraduate and graduate) sent directly to the Office of University Admission-Graduate Program, by the Registrar of the Colleges or Universities involved
- Two recommendation forms, with optional letters attached. The envelopes must be signed and sealed by the evaluator
- GRE scores
- TOEFL scores for international students
- Financial Certification for international students needing an F1 Visa
