Middle East, Europe, and North America
• Specialize with an optional concentration in Health Sector Management
The Global Executive program integrates learning experiences from
contrasting economies. You will learn about the social, economic, political,
and cultural issues that affect the way business is conducted around the
world. Because we are embedded in and connected across key regions, you
can be sure that your investment at Duke will continue to pay dividends
in the global economy. You will leave the program with a stronger global
network and a stronger base from which to build your career legacy.
The Duke MBA—Global Executive program draws from the
same faculty, uses the same rigorous grading standards, and
provides the same degree as all Duke MBA programs. However,
the core curriculum of finance, accounting, decision sciences,
marketing, operations, economics, and strategy is adjusted
to include more global issues and advanced strategies to
serve participants who have or will soon assume global
responsibilities. Participants also choose from several Special
Topic Seminars, which have included Global Strategies, Mergers
& Acquisitions, Venture Capital, Leadership, Marketing Strategy,
and Entrepreneurship.
Unlike other executive MBA programs that often have a regional
draw, the flexibility of The Duke MBA—Global Executive
program features a student body from around the globe. Not
only is the student body diverse geographically, but students
bring diverse global management experiences to the classroom.
As a class, you will travel across the globe and strengthen your
networking bonds by taking the curriculum together in the
same sequence.
The Global Executive program begins in April of each year and
has five terms with three courses per term. Non-US terms are
split between two cities within the same region of the world
offering a rich cultural immersion experience. Upcoming
residency sites include London/St. Petersburg, Dubai/New Delhi,
Shanghai/Bangkok, and Durham, North Carolina
