Columbia is the Newest Campus in the Remington College Family

Remington College’s new Columbia Campus opened its doors to the community of Columbia, South Carolina in 2009.

Columbia is the largest city in the state of South Carolina, known for its cultural amenities, parks, and recreational areas. Remington College has big plans to match the heart of this vibrant city.

Focus on Quality Academic Programs and Student Services

Our mission is to offer the kind of practical, hands-on academic training that will give students the knowledge, skills, experience, and confidence they need to pursue successful careers in and around the Columbia area. Our focus is to empower our students to achieve successful careers and lives after college. In a nutshell, we want to make a difference in the future of our graduates and our entire community.

As part of that effort, we’ve already begun regular interactions with local employers to make sure that the programs and training we deliver are current and in demand in the Columbia area. Those employers have been visiting our Columbia college Campus to meet with us and discuss first-hand our programs, our facilities and equipment, our teaching methods, and our services and amenities.

Tour our beautiful Columbia, South Carolina college Campus, and you’ll see our mission coming to life in the form of Medical Assisting students learning advanced patient care techniques, Medical Insurance and Coding students filing simulated electronic claims, and Cosmetology students working with Matrix hair, nail, and skin care training products.

Remington College - Columbia Campus staff members are excited, motivated, and ready to participate in a variety of community activities in the city of Columbia and in the Richland and Lexington County, South Carolina areas. We want to be regarded as a very welcome addition to the Midlands colleges area – not only because of the quality programs we offer and our exceptional Columbia college Campus environment, but also because of how we plan to give back to our local residents, through such activities as:

•    Manicure, pedicure, and hair styling services for senior citizens at a discount as part of our Cosmetology Program’s on-Campus salon training.

•    Health screening days that include blood pressure, sight, and hearing checks free of charge for local residents.

•    Planned blood drives and food drives!
